Nvidia RTX Spark laptops with up to 128GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of AI compute went on sale Friday from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, Nvidia said.
The machines are built on a single superchip that combines an Nvidia Blackwell RTX GPU and an Nvidia Grace CPU, according to the company. MediaTek worked with Nvidia on the custom CPU design, Nvidia said.
The laptops start at $2,599, with pricing and configurations varying by region, according to Nvidia’s Friday release. A company blog post Saturday gave a starting price of $2,399.
Why it matters
The laptops bring Nvidia’s CUDA software and AI tools to slim Windows PCs built to run large language models and AI agents locally, Nvidia said.
“RTX Spark brings the power of NVIDIA AI, RTX graphics and CUDA together with Microsoft Windows in one PC for creating, gaming and running personal AI agents,” Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said in the release.
Who has a stake
The launch lineup includes the ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra and OmniBook X 14, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ and Prestige N16, according to Nvidia.
“Windows PCs powered by RTX Spark unlock powerful new local compute for creators and developers,” Microsoft Executive Vice President Yusuf Mehdi said in the release.
What’s next
Additional RTX Spark systems will follow, Nvidia said, without giving a date.
