When a story gets a fact wrong, it is fixed, and a note at the bottom of the story says what was wrong and what is right.
- A Correction fixes an error in what was published.
- An Update adds something that happened or came out after publication, such as a court posting its opinion or a company confirming an event.
Either kind of change puts an “Updated” time on the story. Fixing a typo or swapping a photo doesn’t, and neither gets a note.
Every Correction and Update is listed below, newest first.
To report an error, write to Desk@AiEarlyEdition.com with the story’s link and what you think is wrong.
