Deno and Cloudflare: The entire Deno team, including Ryan Dahl, is joining Cloudflare, Deno said Friday. Cloudflare said the team will work to simplify self-hosting Workers and Durable Objects. Deno Deploy will keep running for six months before shutting down, and the Deno runtime gets a year of bug-fix and security releases, Deno said. Neither company disclosed terms.

OpenAI revenue: OpenAI is on track for annualized revenue of roughly $50 billion, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter, after the Financial Times first reported the estimate. That is less than the nearly $70 billion some outlets reported last month, a gap the FT tied to investors comparing OpenAI’s figures with Anthropic’s, according to Bloomberg. OpenAI has made no public statement on the figure.

Amazon and Decart: Amazon is in talks to buy AI startup Decart for around $7 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter. Decart was valued at nearly $4 billion in May, the Journal said. A deal could come soon if talks don’t fall apart or another suitor doesn’t emerge, according to the report.

AI and persistence: About 10 minutes of AI help made people more likely to give up once it was gone, according to a study of 1,222 participants. People did better with AI but “significantly worse without AI,” the researchers wrote.

Microsoft Decision-1: Microsoft said Friday in a blog post that its new Microsoft-Decision-1 model is available in Microsoft Foundry and through OpenRouter, with input tokens priced at $0.042 per million and output tokens free.

TypeSafe AI: TypeSafe AI has raised $870 million in a Series A round that values the startup at $7.5 billion, the company said in a post on its website.
