Meta says Muse is coming to AI glasses, teases Charm device

Muse reaches glasses in the coming months; Charm, a pocket device for real-time voice, has no price yet, Meta said at Connect.

Meta told Connect 2026 that Muse, its U.S. personal AI agent, is coming to AI glasses for hands-free help — and teased Muse Charm, a pocket device built for real-time voice with the same agent. The agent leaves the phone and Mac for wearables; Charm is a later-this-year tease, not a priced SKU.

What shipped / announced:

  • Muse on AI glasses (coming months): say the agent’s name; Muse runs in the background and checks back when done. From the glasses you can ask it to guide a workout, log meals, pull nutrition insights, help buy products you see, book an appointment, check flight prices, or hunt a missing part while driving, cooking, or mid-run — without pulling out a phone (company examples).
  • Look-and-act (Connect wrap): Muse can act on what you’re looking at — product on a shelf, flier on a wall, school-supply list — so you don’t have to describe the scene.
  • Muse Charm: pocket form factor + real-time voice model for talking to Muse; Meta says more details later this year. muse-charm.com is waitlist/email only as of publication.
  • Reach today (context): Muse already on app, WhatsApp, web, and Mac (computer use with permission on Mac per Connect wrap). Glasses + Charm extend that surface.

Where / when: Glasses agent path = coming months after Connect 2026 (blog Sep 23). Charm = more later this year. No public ship date or price for either Muse-on-glasses or Charm in the primaries. Hearing enhancement on supported glasses is a separate U.S. add-on later this year ($149.99 or Meta One) — separate from Muse.

Who for: People already on Muse (or Meta AI glasses) who want the agent hands-free in daily motion — errands, fitness, shopping, travel — without staring at a phone. Replaces “open Muse on phone while juggling bags” with name-wake + glasses camera context; Charm is the no-glasses voice pocket path if it ships.

Risks: Announce-not-ship on both surfaces. Agentic buys / bookings from what the camera sees can misfire. Privacy framing (Private Processing; prior Secure VM pitch) sits next to a live product that just rolled back an undisclosed human-concierge calling handoff in a separate Sep 23 Brief — distinct story; don’t conflate, but readers may. Charm specs unknown.
